"I get this ache... And I, I thought it was for sex, but it's to tear everything to fucking pieces."

I didn't think the movie Ginger Snaps was all that ..when I last watched it..but it tapped into something and for me there was poetry in there as much as there was in Dead Poets Society. But DPS wasn't bothered about "cool" whereas Ginger Snaps I felt was. Is there a director nowadays who doesn't care about cool?
